Here is a list of frequently asked questions about WAG

If you have anymore questions that you would like answered. Please visit the Contact Us page.

Q. – Do I have to live in Windham to become a member of WAG?

A. – No, membership is available to all who reside in Windham or any nearby community including out of State.

Q. – Do I have to be a member of WAG to audition?  Are there production fees?

A. – No, you do not have to be a member of WAG to audition, but if you are selected for a part, you must join WAG to become part of the company.  Yes, each actor pays a production fee for each show they are in, which may vary depending on the show.  Auditions aside, you are always invited to become a WAG member and support our efforts.  If membership fees/production fees are a hardship, please speak to the producer of the show, privately, as no person facing an economic hardship will be denied a part.

Q. – I don’t act, sing, or dance. Can I be a part of a show?

A. – Most definitely you can. There is always a need for people to work backstage and to work with the public, like selling tickets or being an usher.  You do not need to become a member, or pay a production fee if helping in a backstage/front of house capacity, but certainly we’d love you to become a member!

Q. – How do I get started?

A. – Come to an audition, come to a general meeting, or contact someone via our Contact Us page.

Q. – May I make a donation to Windham Actors Guild?

A. – Yes. Windham Actors Guild is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
